With 1600 watts of continuous power the new ELIAS PX system offers substantially more power amplification than its predecessor. For these and other reasons, this added power makes it possible to enjoy tighter more manageable bass.
The satellite unit is equipped with a 12" speaker and a 1" horn. These components are responsible for a much higher maximum sound pressure level, and they ensure that the vocals have no problem loudly and clearly reaching the final row of a larger hall.

Actively powered satellites for added flexibility
With the ELIAS PX system, not just the bass cabinets but also the satellites are equipped with a controller and power amplifier. Think of the advantages: when you play a gig in a pub or smaller bar, you can leave the bass cabinets in the rehearsal room, and let the satellites serve as the perfectly sized ultra-compact active PA. And for greater versatility in the opposite direction, the ELIAS PX system can be expanded with additional active bass cabinets. So you can start with your basic system and, when the time is right, turn it into a PA system that can very capably "pump up the jams" in larger halls or outdoors.

HK AUDIO Experience and Sound Know–How
The active electronics of the new ELIAS PX is based on technology already proven in the successful ACTOR and PROJECTOR systems. It incorporates the "circuit secrets" that have made these systems the models of their respective classes. For the user, this means less work to achieve classic results in clear, powerful sound.

With ELIAS PX, "plug and play" has become reality.

Since mid and high frequencies are a breed apart from low frequencies, they are best handled with a different type of signal processing. To this end, we use a technology originally developed for high-end recording, an opto-limiter. With its soft-knee attack, this type of limiting is not at all harsh, but very smooth, musical, and inconspicuous. The original signal is barely modified, leaving inherent dynamics and natural sounds intact.

HK AUDIO DynaClip™ technology offers a dynamic limiting function designed specifically for enhancing low-bass performance. The DynaClip™ Limiter compensates for the subwoofer’s slower initial transient response, audibly improving pulse behavior. This makes the most of low-frequency energy, increasing effective output power.
DynaClip
HK AUDIO’s unique OFR™ technology delivers commanding yet well-balanced sound at every level. It corrects for non-linear frequency response in the speaker components at the same time as it compensates for the way human hearing works at varying levels.

Frequency Response
The new DuoTilt™ and MicroTilt™ speaker stand mounting collars allow sound energy to be utilized far more efficiently. The DuoTilt™ offers downward angles of 7.5° and 15°, and MonoTilt™ and MicroTilt™ 10°, to better aim the mid/high-range cabinets directly at the audience. Troublesome ceiling reflections are minimized; the soundscape is clearer, tighter, and more focused.
