Details

The IL 8.75 is a full horn-loaded 2-way full range loudspeaker enclosure with a built-in passive crossover. It is fitted with an 8"-cone loudspeaker in a bass reflex housing and a 3/4"-high frequency driver. Both drivers are coupled to a CD-horn. This equipment makes a frequency response in the bass range possible which is sufficient for speech transmission and the reproduction of background music even without a subwoofer. Apart from natural speech reproduction, the IL 8.75 stands out thanks to its high tonal quality. The directive effect even in the bass/mid-range achieves a high degree of speech clarity even in rooms with a longer echo effect. The IL 8.75 is ideally suited for close-range acoustic applications where distances of approx. 10 m have to be bridged. A controller is not necessary for operating the IL 8.75. It is possible, however, to use the Digital Field Controller (DFC).
